Playcadia aims to bring all videogames to people. That includes rare and collectible items that sell for a high price. We worked with them to create the store from scratch based on their visual identity.
When you have a few thousand products, navigation is key. When working with Playcadia we wanted to make sure everyone could easily find what they were looking for and have that be a pleasant experience. We used an app for the megamenu where the client can easily swap, add and remove items with multiple levels of categorization.
see it liveCollectible games are not always in pristine conditions. Some have only a cartridge, some come with no box or no printed content inside. In order for the user to identify these easily we used tags that are associated with icons. This strategy allows the user not only to recognize what is included easier but to also sort and filter using those tags.
It was a great experience beginning to end. Having the support of a team means that you’re helped by professionals in their respective fields. Communication was great with the aid of a project manager (Fran), and the team was very easy to work with and delivered a stellar product.
